Spafax, the Montreal-based custom publishing company, won two golds and five bronzes at the Folio Awards, an international program recognizing excellence in magazine editorial and design. In the custom magazine category, Mobile (published for Bell Mobility) won for Best Design, New Magazine, while EnRoute (published for Air Canada) took gold for Best Use of Illustration. Folio Award winners were announced earlier this week in Chicago as part of the Folio Show.

"This showing is further proof of our commitment to creative and editorial excellence, not just to our clients, but to our readers overall," Spafax editorial director Arjun Basu said in a relase."We create real magazines that can stand up with the best print publications in the world."

Glow magazine, published by Rogers Publishing Ltd., also won a gold at the awards.
