The early bird deadline for the Canadian Newsstand Awards, which honours excellence in newsstand sales and cover execution is tomorrow.
New for the competition this year is a category for special issues and new launches. Also new is an expanded prize package, including $18,500 in HDS promotion credits and designations for Gold, Silver and Bronze in all circulation categories.
Last year’s winners include Châtelaine, Maclean’s, The Hockey News, The Beaver, and This Magazine. Mike Hughes, National Marketing Manager at Transcontinental Media was awarded recognition as the Newsstand Marketer of the Year. To see all of last year’s finalists,
