Yellow Pages Homes Limited, has purchased assets from TC Transcontinental’s Western Media Group division, including vanmag.com, westernlivingmag.com, Western Living magazine, and Vancouver Magazine. Operated by Yellow Pages Limited, YP NextHome is a provider of media and online advertising tools for the Canadian real estate industry.

The new properties will allow YP NextHome to develop its local content generation in Western Canada, in the restaurant, homes and lifestyle market, and give the company access to a larger customer base and audience.

“Both of these properties are leaders in the creation and generation of robust, local lifestyle content for Western Canada,” Caroline Andrews, vice‐president and chief publishing officer of Yellow Pages said. “Local content is integral to the expansion of our YP NextHome real estate brand to encompass liveability information pertinent to homebuyers. The purchase of these properties will accelerate our abilities to grow our presence, service our customers and capture additional traffic in this region of Canada.”

Additional properties in TC’s Western Media Group division, specifically in the restaurants and leisure markets, will be leveraged across other Yellow Pages digital media platforms.
